If there are additional passengers the shuttle service will quote the fee and this is to be paid in US currency. A tip of 10 to 15% to the driver is expected.
A shuttle has its advantages if you need to stop at retail areas to pick up items that could not be brought on your flight. En route to La Villa Bella and Platanitos there are also areas of interest that can be discussed with your driver. Most shuttle drivers are bilingual (Spanish/English).
